“Performing on the Grand Ole Opry stage for the Ralph Stanley Tribute was one of the biggest thrills of my life. I was understandably a little nervous waiting in the wings to go on, but I was told that when I stepped into that circle, center stage, that was taken from the original Opry and put into its new home, I would feel the spirit and power of all the great artists that had performed there before me. And you know what? I felt this peace and joy that’s really indescribable.
I had so much fun performing and the audience felt it. My son, Nick Brennan also performed, and it was a “Big Proud Mama” night. And of course, the cherry on top was meeting Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood backstage and taking that picture. Those two superstars stayed backstage, spoke and took pictures with everyone for hours, and were so kind and down-to-earth.
Can’t wait to perform there again!!”
